Between books people send me, books I buy, and books I get from my local library system, I’m usually chock full of good reading material. Here’s a selection of books that I’ve either skimmed through once but want to read again fully, or that I intend to do more work with over the coming weeks. Have you read any of these? Great choices Chris. I’ll add many of those to my list. Of them I’ve read Groundswell (which the advertising made it sound unappealing to me - but I was pleasantly surprised at how practical & applicable it was. A Definite must read!). And Word of Mouth Marketing is a MUST read. I LOVE how Andy uses the terms stuff & things. That’s how I describe things until I learn the proper terms. It’s a great read for those of us that are ‘accidental’ marketers.

I am in the middle of reading Groundswell. I have been following their blog and writings for a while. But the book really pulls it all together well. It has me thinking about some different approaches to take with social media.
I just finished reading The Pirate’s Dilemma and I loved it. I couldn’t put it down and read it straight through in a long, pre-4th “lazy day, but i’m reading something good, so it’s productive, right?” celebration.
This book made me want everything in my life to be OpenSource and has me eagerly anticipating the day that I will be able to print a new pair of sneakers.
A must read for anyone interested in innovation, how it comes to be and what corporations are going to have to do to compete in a new world where Pirates rule.
ProBlogger has got to be the best blogging book around on how to increase profits on your blog.
I just picked up Groundswell two days ago, it is a great read thus far. It captures social technologies and lays it out in a simple and easy to understand language. Great pick.
Chris, I just finished Jaffe’s Finding the Conversation, now onto Shankman’s PR book and I have a Barry Moltz book on deck after that.

Well I do not get the chance to read much anymore, I spend most of my time working, but I do have Problogger and have been trying to read it as much as possible.
Honestly I love spy novels and my faves are David Morell and Nelson DeMille
Everyone seems to be giving Groundswell a thumbs up so I am going to add that to my list. I am also going to read your blog archives, since I am late to the game on your 100 Social Media posts. So that should take me through August. :) Any time left I will leave for fiction books, working through that list using suggestions from the blog http://www.booksonthenightstand.com
I am in the middle of Gatecrasher by Madeleine Wickham (aka Sophie Kinsella). At some point it can’t be all about business. ;-)
I’ve got Groundswell and Presentation Zen on order. I’ve just read two Seth Godin books: Purple Cow and Meatball Sundae. And I’m hoping to get an advanced reading copy of The Whuffie Factor by Tara Hunt, which my company is publishing in the fall.
Groundswell is fantastic. The Problogger book is good, but don’t expect to be blown away. It’s more for people starting out rather than “experts” such as yourself (even if you don’t like that term - you know what I mean).
Ironically I couldn’t find time to read nowadays as much as reading is one of my hobbies.
Maybe I’ll check Groundswell.
But I want to read again Anne Rice’s books.
