Went to cut my hair at Next (the Saloon), which recently just opened at the ground floor below my office at Telok Ayer Street (beside the 7-eleven). I had 50% off discount coupons gotten from my colleagues.
I had heard about their good service especially with their hair wash and massage service. I could not resist the temptation so I finally made my reservation and I headed down.
The hair wash was delightful and very relaxing. It would be even better if they had played soothing music in the saloon rather than hip hop/pop music and if the lights were more dim.
The cut was good. Though I’m still left in a state of no where, because I wanted to keep my hair a little longer than everyone else in my office who had already passed through Next.
Next was initially at Holland Village, and my brother had went there before and he had recommended that place. Yet, since I seldom go to Holland Village I never went. Now that it’s near my office, it might make more sense. They even have a shop open in Shanghai, at Hyatt on the Bund. It would definitely be up market over there. Nice!
