Oops, it’s actually Saturday in Australia, so this is a bit tardy, but I reckon that it’s not all bad because it’s still Friday in certain parts of the world. This joke is actually pretty good and I reckon that somewhere on this beautiful planet of ours there are those who have lived through it.

It’s about Norm, a strapping Aussie bloke who invites his mum over to dinner. During the meal his mum notices that her son’s roommate is a stunning buxom blond. She also notices a certain interaction between the pair and wonders what exactly is going on between the two.

Norm, sensing the way his mom is acting decides to put a stop to her wild imagination. “You know mom, that Steff and I are simply roommates do me a favor and don’t go getting any wild ideas.”

A couple of days later Steff comes up to Norm and says, “Ever since we had your mom over to dinner I can’t seem to find that solid silver gravy ladle. You don’t think she took it do you?”

“Nah, I don’t think that my mom would do that, but I will write her a letter just in case.”

A couple of days later his mom receives a letter that says, “Dear mom, I’m not saying that you did take the gravy ladle from my house, and I am not saying that you didn’t take it. But the fact remains that ever since we had you over for dinner one has gone missing.” The mother sits down and writes her reply. Norm gets it a couple of days later.

“Dear Norm, I am not saying that you are sleeping with Steff, and I am not saying that you are not sleeping with her. Still, the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her own bed she would have found the gravy ladle by now. Love Mom.”
